Enrolments are open for underground supervisors without qualifications (non-coal), and restricted quarry managers (explosives and non-explosives).

Unless otherwise advised the examination sessions will be conducted at the following times:

  • Perth WHS Foundation (9.00 am to 12.00 pm and 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm)
  • Perth DEMIRS Cannington (9.30 am to 12.30 pm and 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm)
  • Bunbury – South Regional TAFE (8.30 am to 11.30 am and 12.30 pm to 3.30 pm)
  • Kalgoorlie – WA School of Mines (8.30 am to 11.30 am and 12.30 pm to 3.30 pm)

Please arrive at least 30 minutes early for registration as you will need to present your photo ID for checking.

Registration strictly closes 15 minutes before the examination session starts. You will not be able to sit the exam if you arrive after this time.

Note: There are no fees payable to sit the work health and safety legislation or practical examinations.

Requested assessment arrangements 

If you need extra support to participate in a statutory examination due to any personal circumstances, you can request an assessment arrangement tailored to your needs. Confidentiality is maintained.

If you require an assessment arrangement, you should not book an examination session until the requested assessment arrangement has been confirmed.

If you have a diagnosed condition, you must provide a completed medical report from an independent health professional (for example, a general practitioner (GP), medical specialist or psychologist registered with the Psychology Board of Australia).
